MPI Test Machine – Magnetic Particle Inspection Equipment (with Ø230 Input Output)

with the help of the 230 mm Diameter MPI Test Machine, gaps, errors, cracks, folds, welding errors, residual inclusions and cavity errors found on the material surface are detected. It is used in aerospace parts, high temperature casting alloys, crankshaft alloys, landing gear materials and in the detection of defects on the surface of materials produced in the defense industry.

As a result of direct current applied to the material passing through the Ø230 MPI tester, a magnetic field is formed on the material surface. If there is a certain crack in the material, the N and S poles are formed in the beginning and end regions of this crack.  These polar lines formed are directed by interacting with the dust sprayed on the surface under a magnetic field. In this way, the detection of invisible dust with the eye is ensured.

It is applied to all ferromagnetic materials with magnetic particle error detection device with magnetic permeability above 100. grade 300 austenitic steels do not react to the MPI tester because their magnetic susceptibility is very low.
