Rod Magnet Use Cases

Magnetic Rod Magnet Manufacturing
The most significant feature of bar magnets is their ability to separate iron pieces, metal parts, and particles from produced materials with high pulling power. Made from stainless steel, this product is suitable for every sector but is generally preferred in the food industry. Bar magnets produced for the food industry are typically 32 mm in diameter and range between 10,000-12,000 Gauss.
This product, which can be used for years, can be manufactured with bakelite, aluminum, and stainless steel handles. Bar magnets, which can be used in liquid-interactive environments in a completely leak-proof manner, have a south and north pole at both ends. It is the most common type of magnetic separator. The magnetic force lines of a bar magnet form closed and continuous lines flowing from north to south, never intersecting on either side of the magnet. There are also special varieties for sampling, manual sorting, quality control, and laboratories.
Each end of the magnet is considered a pole. Therefore, when cut in half, the magnet automatically transforms into two separate magnets, each with its own poles and magnetic field. The average magnetization magnitude of bar magnets varies depending on the type of ferromagnetic material chosen. Additionally, the magnitude of magnetism is related to how strong the two poles are and how far apart they are from each other.
