MAGNETIC SEPERATORS

Magnetic separators are industrial devices used to separate materials that exhibit magnetic properties from non-magnetic ones. These devices are commonly utilised in a wide range of industries, including mining, recycling, construction, cement, ceramics, chemicals, and the food industry. The main purpose of magnetic separators is to extract ferrous or magnetic particles from raw materials or products, thereby improving product purity and quality, while also protecting machinery from potential damage.

The working principle of magnetic separators relies on strong magnets generating a magnetic field that attracts magnetic materials such as iron, nickel, or cobalt. As the material flows through or past the magnetic field, these particles are pulled out of the mixture and separated. Depending on the type of magnets used and the design of the system, various types of magnetic separators are available. These include drum-type, grate-type, conveyor belt magnetic separators, magnetic plates, and suspension-type separators.
