Certified Magnetic Filter Manufacturing
Magnetic filters are essential in the final products of food manufacturing companies, particularly at critical control points and for equipment protection. Magnets with strengths of 10,000 Gauss, 12,500 Gauss, and 13,500 Gauss are vital for ensuring food safety. Our magnetic bars are made entirely of stainless materials, preventing bacterial growth and making them suitable for food applications.
Our magnetic filters are produced in compliance with globally recognized standards such as BRC, HACCP, and TSE. Locally manufactured, we offer customized sizes and strengths for corporate clients. With a special 304 and 316 stainless steel infrastructure and a unique control system, these filters ensure no metal is missed.
Technical Specifications of Our Magnetic Filters:
– Magnetic filters can be produced with 316L and 304 stainless steel casings suitable for acidic and basic environments.
– They maintain strength while easily capturing even metal dust.
– Magnetic bars are detachable, making repairs straightforward.
– The body diameter of magnetic bars can be produced in desired sizes such as 3”, 4”, 5”, and 6”.
– Design options include cased and uncased, as per customer request.
– Neodymium magnets used within the casing offer high magnetic flux strength.
– NdFeB Neodymium magnets outside the casing provide a flux strength of around 10,000 – 14,000 GAUSS.
– They withstand standard temperatures of 80°C and up to a maximum of 200°C.
– Rod-type magnetic filters are made from cast or welded 304 stainless steel bodies, designed to withstand a maximum pressure of 10 Bar.
– These filters are manufactured with NdFeB Neodymium magnets encased in 304 stainless steel tubes.
– The rods housed in 304 stainless steel tubes are equipped with 304 stainless steel rod casings.
– They feature a 1” brass drain valve at the bottom for horizontal connections.
– The system can be designed for self-cleaning or manual cleaning based on customer preference.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Can magnetic filters be used for powder or dry products?
Answer: No. Magnetic filters are specifically designed for separating iron particles from liquid products.
How are captured iron particles cleaned?
Answer: In manually cleaned filters, the block containing magnetic bars is removed and cleaned by hand. In automatically cleaned filters, metals easily fall off when the block is removed.
Can the filter housing be made from regular metal instead of stainless steel?
Answer: No. Regular metal would short-circuit the magnetic field, reducing efficiency. Therefore, we only use stainless material.
Is the housing of the magnetic filter itself magnetic?
Answer: No, the housing is not magnetic. The magnetic bars inside the housing capture iron particles.
Is electricity required to operate the magnetic filter?
Answer: No. Magnetic filters consist of permanent magnets and do not require a power source.
Can we use a magnetic filter for highly abrasive or acidic liquids?
Answer: Yes. We provide special coatings for such applications.
What is the lifespan of a magnet?
Answer: The magnetic strength is permanent. A magnet can be demagnetized if damaged or exposed to temperatures beyond its operating range. However, magnets may lose 2% to 3% of their magnetic power over five years.
Can we recharge the magnet or increase its strength?
Answer: No, magnets cannot be recharged. Only our flexible magnets can be enhanced through shock treatment.
How can we measure the strength of the magnet?
Answer: Magnetic strength can be checked using a gauss meter, and your magnetic filters will be delivered with a Gauss report valid for one year.
Can we replace the magnetic rod in the filter?
Answer: Magnetic rods cannot be removed if welded with the filter’s top cover. However, in some cases, they are bolted, allowing for replacement.
